Scott Feltrinelli recalled with glee the day he caught 22 brown trout in just two hours at one of his honey holes on Four Mile Creek in Webster. Out of fresh water trout flies, he pulled out the only thing he had left to throw: a fly meant to catch saltwater bonefish.

Cattaraugus Creek is approximately 68 miles long and meanders through wooded hills southwest of the City of Buffalo, NY and continues through the Seneca Tribe property and finally drains into Lake Erie. My focus for fly fishing inland trout from May to October is the piece of water that runs through the Town of Arcade, NY.
